Our Bed Bug Treatment Checklist

Vacuuming

Disposable Bags: Vacuuming is essential before our arrival and after a while. You’ll have to use a powerful vacuum cleaner equipped with a disposable bag to thoroughly clean infested areas, This ensures effective capturing and disposal of bed bugs, preventing the spread of the infestation. It is advised to focus on areas around bed seals for optimal results.

Preparing for bed bug treatment

Bedding Removal: We’ll carefully remove and seal all linens, covers, and sheets for proper laundering at high temperatures.

Treating Carpeted Areas

Underlay and Edges: We’ll treat the entire carpet surface, including the underlay (pulling it back 30cm for better access) and the straight edges underneath. This ensures no hiding spots are left untreated.

Addressing Cracks and Crevices

Dust Application: For cracks in floorboards and around electrical areas like sockets, we’ll utilize targeted dust treatments to eliminate bed bugs hiding in these narrow spaces.

Treating Furniture

Combination Approach: We’ll employ a combined approach of dust and spray treatments to ensure complete coverage. This includes targeting bed frames, slats, mattress seams, beading, areas under buttons, and labels.

Exposed Brickwork

Mortar Gaps: In cases with exposed brickwork, we’ll meticulously treat the gaps between the mortar to ensure no bed bugs remain hidden.

After Bed Bug treatment, our technician will:

  • Explain treated areas and re-entry times.

  • Discuss follow-up plans and warranty details.

  • Recommend hot water washing (60°C+) or drying (+30 mins) for only the clothes pillow and tissue.

We provide a detailed service report and work with you for long-term success.

Follow-Up Bed Bug Treatment
